Sunken Vessel Location and Inspection, Italy
Geolab, Italy awarded Hallin Marine the contract for ROV services onboard the vessel Mare Oceano in Mediterranean waters.
Hallin mobilised the Quasar Compact 4 ROV system onboard the Mare Oceano to complete the scope of work which comprised survey operations to locate a sunken vessel. During the delivery of this project, the ROV team assisted with the recovery of ancient artefacts from a sunken Roman vessel outwith the original scope of work.
Water depths ranged from 100 metres to 800 metres.
