Chiang Mai was a fantastic last destination of the trip and we thouroughly enjoyed our two day stay there, Elephant riding in the jungle, and enjoying the friendly Thai culture. A long leg in the morning down to Phuket saw us dodging big thunderstorms around Bangkok en route. Arrived in Phuket in rain showers, expecting a quick re-fuelling stop, but outward clearance from Thialand was aggravatingly inefficient. Eventually we were on our way ... home towards Singapore. It was great to be talking to the controllers in Malaysia and crossing over familiar places and place names, but sad to be coming to the end of our long journey. The welcome on arrival at Seletar from Lily, Jasmine and several colleagues from work was great!
