Hallin Marine manufactures, owns and operates Saturation Diving Systems to carry out subsea diving operations. The compact containerized systems provide dive, control, main diver control panel, twin-lock deck decompression chamber, HP and LP compressors, launch and recovery system, and diver’s stage wet bell.
Diving equipment supplied for projects by Hallin are designed, built, certified, maintained and operated in accordance with International Maritime Contractors Association (IMCA) Guidelines and Codes of Practice for offshore diving operations.
The systems using helium oxygen mixtures allow longer duration for in-water working time at greater depths than are normally achievable utilising air diving techniques.
The Hallin Marine Saturation Diving Systems are:
HMS-SAT-06 – 12-Man System / 3-Man Bell
HMS-SAT-07 – 15-Man System / 3-Man Bell
HMS-SAT-10 – 12-Man System / 3-Man Bell
HMS-SAT-11 – 15-Man System / 3-Man Bell
HMS-SAT-14 – 12-Man System / 3-Man Bell
HMS-SAT-15 – 12-Man System / 3-Man Bell
All systems are portable, able to be mobilised onto support vessels and construction barges to facilitate offshore construction and inspection diving works, with the exception of HMS-SAT-07, which is built into Hallin’s SOV Ullswater and HMS-SAT-11 which is built into SOV Windermere.
