PURPOSE OF JOB
- Delivery of CAD drawings specific to project needs in accordance with the company’s or client’s policies, systems and procedures.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the project’s CAD design engineering;
- Involving in the complete interaction with the function’s dynamics and processes;
- Working on a range of CAD design-engineering solutions;
- The role will be working on a range of engineering and project facilitation as necessary for delivery of the project’s requirements;
- Responsible for the maintenance of all technical & engineering drawings using both 2D & 3D CAD software as necessary;
- Project stage dependent, the design work will cover within the design project’s demands;
- Deliver detailed CAD design proposal within the design project demands;
- Supporting other team members to deliver drawings on time;
- Probable involvement in project decisions
- Ensure accurate CAD drawings according to company standards or client’s standards.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Minimum education requirement is a technical degree/diploma from a recognised institution
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak) and one other language with communication and inter-personal skills essential;
- Experience in CAD design – Design engineering, 2D / 3D CAD and drawing maintenance
- Must be able to take initiative and be able to work independently;
- Able to manage activities and workload;
- AutoCAD and/or Inventor experience and a proven track record of successful project implementation in a similar environment is essential.
