PURPOSE OF JOB
As one of the senior sales professionals in the Hallin Group, assume responsibility for the generation of international sales (Non NWCS) originating from European based customers.
Location : Northern Europe – Southern England/Holland
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving Group international (Non NWCS) sales to European based customers to meet Division’s annual revenue budgets;
- Promoting the awareness of the Hallin Group and building long term relationships with with Oil Companies Operators (in particular Shell and BP), prime contractors, government regulators and industry bodies as required;
- Monitoring O&G media for suitable business opportunities;
- Identifying international market opportunities with European based customers in particular customers based in The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and England;
- Attending conventions and conferences in Europe and elsewhere as required;
- Ensuring that Hallin is included on all relevant international bid lists for specific projects and Master service Agreements with Oil Majors and Level 1 contractors;
- Overseeing the preparation of pre-qualification submissions with the help of the relevant Division Commercial Departments;
- Attending Client pre-bid meetings and clarifying Client’s enquiries to enable the Commercial Departments to have sufficient information to enable them to bid the work;
- Assisting with the tender process including the preparation of costing spreadsheets, the completion of pricing formats, and the preparation of proposal documents;
- Meeting suppliers and subcontractors that may assist the Commercial Departments to prepare bids;
- Following-up with Clients on submitted bids and ensuring that clarifications are responded to;
- Participating in and leading Client negotiations;
- Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation such as sample procedures, schedules and deck layouts in cooperation with the Projects / Operations Departments;
- Liaising closely with other Superior Group companies to promote a joined up approach for Key Accounts and marine opportunities in particular well intervention;
- Providing weekly reports and data input into the Hallin CRM system as required;
- Assisting sales of selective long term NWCS opportunities;
- Travelling overseas as required.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- With the Sales Managers based in Houston, Aberdeen, W. Africa and Singapore.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Appropriate technical qualifications in fields relevant to Hallin Marine;
- At least five years’ experience in a similar sales and marketing role in the O&G subsea services market;
- Able to demonstrate a track record of sales success and network building within the O&G industry;
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Able to understand technical drawings;
- Confident at using MS Office software;
- Fluent in English in speech and writing;
- Fluent in Dutch at a working and technical level;
- Fluent in French and/or Italian at a working and technical level, will also be an advantage;
- Self-starter, able to work alone;
- European National.
